Benefits of Inline Gear

Equipment photoCan I wear my ice hockey equipment?

You can wear your ice hockey equipment, but it can be very hot and restricting. Hockey socks and traditional pants can also stick to the floor and rip easily on concrete.

Inline Gear is Cooler

Inline gear offers you all the protection of your ice gear but it is light weight and breathable. Inline pants are designed to allow the heat to escape and the cool air in. Inline pants also have reinforeced material on the knees making it more resistant to ripping.

You will not only feel cooler in inline gear but you will also have a greater range of motion and will be able to react to a faster paced game than traditional ice hockey. The Calgary Roller Hockey League is non body checking so shoulder pads and neck guard are optional.

The more comfortable you are the more enjoyable the game will be!

For more wheel information visit our Equipment Video Gallery

All wheels have two numbers on them: the size in millimeters and the hardness rating which is from 72A to 82A. The size is the diameter, determined by what your skate chassis will accommodate.

The LOWER the rating number, the softer the wheel. The HIGHER the rating number, the harder the wheel.

The best wheels to use for indoor roller hockey are 72A, 74A and 76A. You can use 78A but they may not work too well.

We sell inline wheels. Visit our wheels page....
