The teams will be divided into 2 pools. Pool "A" will have the 2nd place, 3rd place and 5th place teams. Pool "B" will have the 1st place, 4th place and 6th place teams.
Based on the final standings at the end of the regular season.
The teams will play a round robin. With the 1st and 2nd place teams moving onto the semi-finals. First place in Pool "A" will crossover and play 2nd place in Pool "B".
First place in Pool "B" will play 2nd Place in Pool "A'. With the winner advancing to the finals. The 3rd place teams in both divisions will play for 5th place.
The Playoffs start on Wednesday June 13th 6:30 pm.
If two teams are tied:
The first tie breaker will be the game played against each other.
If three teams are tied:
The first tie breaker will be the games played against each other.
To determine which teams advance to the semi-finals.
It they are still tied the goal differential will be used to determine which team advances to the finals and which teams playoff.
The two remaining teams if still tied by goal differential the first tie breaker will be the game played against each.
If still tied goals against with the team that has allowed the fewest goals advancing. Last if they are still tied it will come down to which team
scored the first goal in their first playoff game.
All games in the playoffs will have a winner.
If the game is tied after regulation time the game will go to a 5 minute sudden victory overtime. If the game is still tied there will then be
a 3 player shootout same rules as the regular season.
Any player that receives a penalty with less than 2 minutes remaining in the game and the game goes into overtime the player will
serve the remainder of their penalty in overtime. If the player receives a penalty in overtime with less than 2 minutes remaining
that player is still eligible to shoot in the shootout.
